Dorothy M. Munz, age 80, of BearValley, died on Saturday, June 30, 2012 following a struggle with cancer. She was born in the Bear Creek area ofSauk County on December 30, 1931,the daughter of Leo and Hilda (Pletzer) Pulvermacher. Dorothy was united in marriage with Vincent Munz on February 18, 1950. While she was a hardworking woman, she was also a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. In addition to farming and raising five children with Vincent (and loving many other children), she cooked at Rock's Round Barn. She loved gardening, birdwatching, growing flowers,treasure hunting at garage sales with friends and family, and helping with the family geneology.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters: Alma, Martha and Marie.

A funeral mass for Dorothy M. Munz will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at ST. KILIAN'S CATHOLIC CHURCH in Bear Valley. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is serving the Munz family.
