Mildred Bristol Johnson

Mildred A. Bristol Johnson, age 93, of Richland Center and formerly of Lone Rock, died on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Pine Valley Healthcare. She was born in Delevan, Wisconsin on April 10, 1918, the daughter of Bernard and Lena (Adney) Morris. Mildred was united in marriage with Robert V. Bristol in 1936. They raised their family together until his untimely death in 1959. Mildred married Haakon Johnson in 1966. He preceded her in death in 1983. Mildred was a loving mother whose family meant the world to her. Her big heart reached out to anyone in need and sometimes any animal in need, as she fed the stray animals who reached her doorstep. Her big heart also reached out to many friends of her family, including them in family meals and Holiday celebrations. Not only did she make sure that everyone was fed, she made sure she had a special gift for them. Mildred loved plants and flowers, and had many inside and outside her home.

Survivors include her children:

Jerry A. (Ruth) Bristol of Richland Center

James D. (Barb) Bristol of Clark Forks, Idaho

Susan J. Bristol of Boise, Idaho
